Septic work is a natural fit with excavation, and it is one of the services Pope Construction & Excavation, Inc. does most. We install new septic systems and repair drain fields for homeowners, builders, and developers across East Tennessee. This page explains what that work involves so you know what to expect before you call.
New Septic System Installation
New installs are one of our core services. We install septic systems for new homes and for properties that need a new system, working from the approved design for your site. Because we are also an excavation company, we can handle the digging, tank setting, and drain field work, and coordinate with the rest of your site work.
Drain Field Repair
When a drain field fails or a system has problems, the fix depends on what is actually wrong. A simple blockage can be a minor repair, while a collapsed plastic tank, for example, is a much bigger job. We look at the situation and talk through the repair needed so you can decide how to move forward.
What Most Septic Projects Start With
- A site that has been evaluated for a septic system
- An approved design and permit for the system
- Clear access for equipment to the tank and drain field area
- A timeline for when you would like the work done
If you are not sure where your project stands, call and we will tell you what to line up next.
Site Work Done by the Same Crew
A septic system goes into the ground, so clearing and grading matter. If the area where the tank and field will go still needs to be cleared, we can take care of it through our land clearing and excavation and site prep services. Utility trenches, driveways, and footers can be coordinated on the same project.
